The assistant helps someone run a helpline investigation. It is the only AI in A Safer Risk, and it lives on the case.

Where it sits

It is part of Incident manager. On an event investigation it can suggest the next question, show what evidence is still missing, and draft wording for findings and closure. Personal details are reduced before they are sent.

What it does

• Next question

  It suggests the next useful question from the investigation already under way.

• Missing evidence

  It points out gaps, and differences between the report, the site records and the notes.

• Closure wording

  It drafts findings and a closure summary in neutral language the investigator can edit.

Limits

• The investigator decides the outcome. The assistant does not decide whether a kitchen caused illness.
• Records, timelines and conclusions come from the case. The assistant does not invent them.
• The investigation pathway sets the current step. The assistant does not move the case on.
• Opening checks, audits and the compliance score are separate. The assistant does not produce them.
• The assistant stays off until an organisation turns it on. The same investigation runs without it.

Customer statements stay labelled as reports. Site records stay labelled as records. Findings stay labelled as findings.
